Theoretical investigation of treating senile anxiety from the kidney
Senile anxiety disorder is a psychological disorder that occurs in old age. Its anxiety has no specific content and is not in line with reality. Compared with common anxiety disorders
the physical symptoms of elderly anxiety are more obvious. This disease seriously disturbs the physical and mental health of patients
especially after experiencing an epidemic
the population of elderly anxiety disorder has shown a blowout. Currently
most anxiety disorders are treated from the heart and liver
and elderly patients tend to tonify the kidney
but they fail to have a clear understanding of priority in the treatment of elderly anxiety. Susceptibility to the influence of the kidney-will and the reduction of kidney deficiency and marrow are considered as the theoretical foundation for senile anxiety disorders
while deficiency of yin and yang of the kidney and viscera dysfunction are the underlying disease mechanism. As for treatment
TCM physicians are good at taking the kidney as the foundation
supplemented by other methods at the same time. Based on the etiology and pathogenesis of senile anxiety disorder
combined with the clinical experience of famous TCM physicians and modern medical research results
this paper discusses the rationality of treating senile anxiety disorder from the kidney
so as to provide reference for clinical treatment.
