tenesmus and so on. It can be classified into the categories of "intestinal diarrhea"
"dysenteric diarrhea" and "rest dysentery" in traditional Chinese medicine. In traditional Chinese medicine
the basic pathogenesis of the disease is deficiency of healthy Qi
retention of dampness and toxin and stagnation of Qi and blood. The disease is located in the large intestine and is closely related to the liver
spleen and kidney.Wind medicinals are pungent in flavor

this paper discusses the mechanism and application of wind medicinals in the treatment of ulcerative colitis from the aspects of lifting spleen Yang
