Tic disorders are often caused by the onset

aggravation or even recurrence of allergic rhinitis. It is important that good treatment of tic disorders with allergic rhinitis can prevent the disease

reduce recurrence and shorten the course. This paper discusses the relationship between spirit and qi. The conclusion is that qi movement

which consist of ascending

descending

exiting and entering

is the foundation of children’s growth both in body and mind. On this basis

it further puts forward the pathogenesis of tic disorders with allergic rhinitis is closely related to the external wind driving the internal wind. The location of this disease is the liver and lung. Furthermore

the core pathogenesis of it is the imbalance of qi movement. Therefore

the therapeutic principle is to restore the smooth and balanced movement of qi

regulate the lung and calm the liver

with necessary additions to the formula based on the symptoms. In the acute stage

it is emphasized that the symptoms should be solved first

and then the root causes later. During the remission period

emphasis is placed on the root

while dealing with the branches at the same time. From the perspective of qi movement in children

this paper provides ideas about syndrome differentiation and treatment of tic disorders with allergic rhinitis

to hopefully serve as guidance for the TCM treatment of the disease that focuses on "preventing disease before it arises and controlling the development of existing disease" .
