摘要:Bipolar disorder is a common disease in psychiatric clinics. TCM treatment has its own advantages and characteristics. Syndrome differentiation and treatment is the core of TCM, while syndromes are the core of syndrome differentiation and treatment. At present, there has been still a lack of unified standards of the syndromes. Therefore, on the basis of ancient and modern literature research, clinical epidemiological investigation and Delphi method research, the Professional Committee of Psychosis Branch of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine were summoned to discuss the TCM syndrome classification and the syndrome-symptoms of the bipolar disorder for three times. Finally, the expert consensus standard of TCM syndrome differentiation and classification of the bipolar disorder has been determined. TCM syndromes of the bipolar disorder were divided into 3 types in mania and 5 types of depressive episodes according to this standard. Every syndrome has to meet 4 symptoms of the main symptoms plus 5 symptoms of sub-symptoms before diagnosis can be made. At the same time, the relevant symptoms which are of four diagnosis information can be quantified by experts, so that the research work can be unified and quantified, especially in scoring the curative effect of TCM syndrome in clinical research.
摘要:ObjectiveTo provide references for the syndrome differentiation-based diagnosis and treatment through observing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tongue images of the yin-deficiency pattern in hypertensive patients.MethodsA total of 314 hypertensive patients were recruited, and divided into non yin-deficiency pattern group (n=122), mild yin-deficiency pattern group (n=124) and severe yin-deficiency pattern group (n=68) based on the yin-deficiency pattern score. Standard tongue image of each patient was collected by using a TCM tongue image instrument, and analyzed for tongue image characteristics of RGB and HIS color space, index of thickness of tongue coating, and texture indexes.ResultsAs the severity of yin-deficiency pattern in hypertensive patients increased, R and I values of tongue body were increased, and B value was lowered, and R, B and H values of tongue coating were increased. For characteristics of the tongue texture, zhiASM was decreased, while zhiENT was increased. With the aggravation of yin-deficiency syndrome, the tongue color tended to be red, the tongue coating developed yellow and the tongue texture was rougher.ConclusionsObjective indexes of the tongue image are sensitive in reflecting the yin-deficiency pattern of hypertension, which are basically consistent with TCM theories and clinical conclusions. Therefore, observation of tongue image and relevant indexes is unique and can be applied in the diagnosis of hypertension.
摘要:ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation on the use of analgesics and adverse reactions after total knee arthroplasty.MethodsSeventy patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in our department were randomly assigned to the experimental group and to the control group, with 35 patients in each group. After surgery, patients in the control group were treated with base analgesia, while patients in the experimental group received additional transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) until the 7th day after surgery. The visual analogue scale (VAS) and knee pain threshold after surgery, the time of the first use of remedial analgesics and amount of remedial analgesics after surgery, and postoperative adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting were recorded respectively.ResultsOn the 1st day after surgery, there was no statistical difference in knee VAS score and pain thresholds between the two groups (P> 0.05). On the 3rd and 7th day after surgery, knee VAS score was lower in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05), and the pain threshold was higher in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05);The time of the first postoperative remedial analgesia was significantly longer in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05);The dosage of remediation analgesics and the incidence of adverse reactions were lower in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionsTranscutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation can effectively relieve the early pain after total knee arthroplasty, which can delay the time of the first use of remedial analgesics after operation and reduce the dosage of analgesics and reduce the incidence of postoperative adverse reactions.

摘要:Itching is the most common symptom in dermatosis, with unknown disease mechanism. Though Western treatment works quickly, it is often accompanied with adverse reactions and is easy to relapse. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is termed "wind itching" with a vast majority of documents on it. Professor Zhao Bingnan, founder of Yanjing Zhao’s Dermatology School, created "Antipruritic Mixture " through his clinical experience and reading ancient medical literature. The Mixture is composed of fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Divaricata), shouwuteng (Caulis Polygoni Multiflori), baixianpi (Cortex Dictamni), baijili (Fructus Tribuli), danggui (Chinese Angelica), and kushen (Radix Sophorae Flavescentis). These six medicinals work together to dispel wind and dampness, clear away heat, kill insects and nourish blood so as to achieve the purpose of nourishing blood and moistening dryness, dispelling wind and relieving itching. This mixture has good effects in the treatment of itching of all types and prevention against relapses. This article elaborates the composition as well as its application to the treatment of itching of exuberant wind, exuberant heat, exuberant dampness and blood deficiency patterns.
摘要:This paper introduces Professor Guo Zhiqiang’s experience with the application of Chongyang theory in the treatment of repeated embryo transfer implantation failure. Professor Guo believes that female constitution is often deficient in yin as well as in yang, forming the Chongyangtheory (advocating Yang) that yin and yang support each other, with yin as the foundation and yang as the dominant. He holds that the implantation failure is due to deficiency of kidney yang and the cold uterus with inability to take the embryo plant in endometrium. He adheres to the principle of regulating menstruation before pregnancy and uses the sequential therapy of traditional Chinese medicine to regulate menstruation before embryo transfer. After embryo transfer, Lianggu Decoction is given to invigorate the kidney and warm yang, protect yang qi and promote implantation.
摘要:Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the spine and sacroiliac joints.Professor Yan Xiaoping first proposed the TCM disease name of Ankylosing Spondylitis-which corresponds to "Dalv" in traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Yan believes that the disease has many causes, complicated pathogenesis, and changeable conditions. The reason is not only a renal disease, but also involves bladder meridian. There are many meridians involved such as the Liver Meridian, Spleen Meridian, Gallstone Meridian, Lung Meridian, and so on. Therefore, the " Meridians transmission syndrome differentiation " is proposed, which combines drugs with meridians in clinical practice, and introduces meridians into the meridian.

摘要:ObjectiveTo evaluate the outcomes used in randomized controlled trials(RCTs) of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in the intervention of sub-optimal health.MethodsWe searched RCTs of TCM in the intervention of sub-optimal health in the databases of CNKI, WanFang Data, CBM, VIP and PubMed from establishment time to July 28, 2020. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, two researchers independently screened all the records, extracted the data and evaluated the risk of bias for the included trials by the Cochrane bias risk assessment tool. Qualitative description and frequency analysis were conducted to describe the outcomes of the included studies.ResultsA total of 7,338 papers were searched and screened. Three hundred and fifty-one papers were included in the final analysis. Outcomes used in these 351 studies were mainly divided into seven categories. In terms of frequency, clinical efficacy indicators came the first(233 times), followed by Quality of life scale (204 times), clinical symptoms and signs indicators (84 times),blood biochemistry panel (42 times), TCM syndrome score indicators (36 times), safety profiles (54 times) and other parameters (31 times). The main problems in the outcomes used in RCTs of TCM in the intervention of sub-optimal health were as follows: lack of comprehensiveness of outcome indicators, lack of standardization of reference basis and measurement methods, importance attached to qualitative indicators rather than to quantitative selection, and lack of recognition and universality.ConclusionsThis study evaluated the outcomes used in RCTs of TCM in the intervention of sub-optimal health, so as to lay a foundation for constructing the core indicator set of sub-optimal health.

摘要:After an ischemic stroke, brain injuries will affect intestinal function, and intestinal dysfunction will further aggravate brain injuries, forming a pathologically interfering vicious circle. Two thousand years ago, there were medical discourses related to the brain-gut in traditional Chinese medicine. The modern brain-gut axis theory has confirmed that there is a two-way regulatory system between the gastrointestinal tract and the brain that involves nerves, endocrine, immunity and other aspects. From the perspective of viscera and bowels, this article explainsthe mechanism of intestinal dysfunction aggravating brain injuries in terms of body fluid metabolism, lifting and lowering movements of qi, Shenmingregulation, meridian rongtong, etc., and explores the effect of "intestinal injuriesaffecting the brain" by acupuncture treatment under this two-way mutual influence.

摘要:This paper briefly analyzes the disease mechanism of acute eczema from the view of the relationship between the liver and spleen, and discusses the application of the therapy of regulating the liver and spleen in the internal treatment of acute eczema.Physiologically, the liver and spleen depend on each other in transporting and transforming water and food, regulating qi movements and blood circulation; pathologically, the two have a complex transmission relationship based on the theory of five elements and generating and controlling. The pathological elements of acute eczema include wind, dampness, heat and so on, which are closely related to the disorder of the liver and spleen. In the treatment of acute eczema, we should grasp the causes of the liver and spleen injuries, distinguish wind, dampness and heat, treat both the disorder of the liver and spleen and clearaway the excessive pathogenic factors.

摘要:Senile anxiety disorder is a psychological disorder that occurs in old age. Its anxiety has no specific content and is not in line with reality. Compared with common anxiety disorders, the physical symptoms of elderly anxiety are more obvious. This disease seriously disturbs the physical and mental health of patients, especially after experiencing an epidemic, the population of elderly anxiety disorder has shown a blowout. Currently, most anxiety disorders are treated from the heart and liver, and elderly patients tend to tonify the kidney, but they fail to have a clear understanding of priority in the treatment of elderly anxiety. Susceptibility to the influence of the kidney-will and the reduction of kidney deficiency and marrow are considered as the theoretical foundation for senile anxiety disorders, while deficiency of yin and yang of the kidney and viscera dysfunction are the underlying disease mechanism. As for treatment, TCM physicians are good at taking the kidney as the foundation, supplemented by other methods at the same time. Based on the etiology and pathogenesis of senile anxiety disorder, combined with the clinical experience of famous TCM physicians and modern medical research results, this paper discusses the rationality of treating senile anxiety disorder from the kidney, so as to provide reference for clinical treatment.

摘要:The theory ofhand diagnosis is a characteristic diagnosis method of traditional Chinese medicine that observes hand information to diagnose disease; Palmistry is a theory of numerology prediction by observing hand information. Both are doctrines for observing and analyzing the characteristics of the hand to obtain the corresponding information. Based on the historical origins of hand diagnosis and palmistry, we take the historical origins of hand diagnosis and palmistry as the line, and explore the theoretical reference of palmistry to hand diagnosis with a research attitude of taking the essence and removing the dross. And it is concluded that the main influence of palmistry theory on hand diagnosis is that the introduction of Nine Palaces and bagua zoning method, enriching the use of diagnosing the content of palm print and filling the diagnosing theories of inspection of color and shape. Through the study, we aimed to enrich and develop the theory of hand diagnosis, provide convenience for researchers and guide clinical application.

摘要:In recent years, many physicians have expounded the underlying theoretical foundation as well as clinical application of "to treat wěi (atrophy, 痿), select the yangming channel only" in Huangdi Neijing(Huangdis Internal Classic). Most of them think that "wěi (痿)" means that limbs are flaccid and not used. From the perspective of "selecting the yangming channel only" , they mostly focus on the treatment of limb diseases such as myasthenia gravis. However,we believe that the above-mentioned understanding greatly limits the application of this sentence.Based on the literary connotation of the word "wěi" and the clinical manifestations of modern diseases, this paper puts forward that both "flaccidity" and "atrophy" can be treated by selecting the yangming channel only at the micro level, which can be summarized as organic atrophy and functional degenerative diseases, such as atrophic rhinitis, atrophic gastritis, organ droopping, etc. In terms of syndrome differentiation and treatment of supplementation and purgation,Astragalus membranaceus is used as the main medicine to invigorate qi and spleen and eliminate the stagnation of Yangming. It enriches the deep understanding of the theory and expands the guiding application of the theory to clinical practice.
