摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of moving cupping combined with Guizhi Poria Capsules on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (CPID) combined with pelvic fluid of the cold dampness stagnation pattern.MethodsSixty patients with CPID and pelvic effusion of the cold dampness stagnation pattern were randomly assigned to the treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30). After the withdrawals excluded, there were 26 left in the treatment group and 26 in the control group. The control group received Guizhi Poria Capsules orally, and the treatment group received additional moving cupping treatment. The curative effect of TCM syndrome, TCM symptom score, Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS score) of lumbosacral pain and change in pelvic effusion were observed.ResultsAfter treatment, among the 26 cases in the treatment group, 0 case was cured, 8 cases were effective, 17 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective, with a total effective rate of 96.15%. In the control group, 0 case was cured, 6 cases were effective, 19 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective, with a total effective rate of 86.21%. According to the rank-sum test, Z=-1.737, P=0.082, P>0.05, it indicated that there was no statistical difference in TCM syndrome efficacy between the two groups. After treatment, the scores of TCM symptoms in the treatment group were decreased, as compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). In the control group, except for abnormal stools, the scores of other TCM symptoms were decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). The lumbosacral pain score was significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant before and after treatment (P< 0.05). VAS scores of lumbosacral pain in both groups were decreased after treatment, as compared with before treatment (P< 0.05), and significantly decreased in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). The amount of pelvic fluid was significantly decreased in both groups after treatment, as compared with before treatment (P<0.05), but there was no statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05).ConclusionsMoving cupping combined with Guizhi Poria Capsules has a good clinical effect on CPID combined with pelvic fluid of the cold dampness stagnation pattern.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Tiaogeng Yijing Formula on the receptivity of endometrium and pregnancy outcomes of the poor ovarian response (POR) patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome during in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET).MethodsA total of 42 POR patients were randomly and equally assigned to the treatment group (21 cases) and control group (21 cases). After the withdrawals excluded, there were 20 left both in the treatment group and the control group. Patients in the treatment group received Tiaogeng Yijing Formula for 14 days of 3 consecutive menstrual cycles in addition to microstimulation from the seventh day of menstruation, while patients in the control group received no treatment for three months before undergoing microstimulation. Western blotting was used to determine integrin αvβ3, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β1), LIF, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)in the two groups during planting window phase of endometrium. Endometrial thickness, proportion of type A endometrium, blood flow index, planting rate and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups.ResultsEndometrium relative grey value of planting window phase, integrin αvβ3, TGF-β1 and VEGF protein expression were significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). Proportion of type A endometrium, endometrial resistance index and pulsatility index were significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). There was a significant difference in clinical pregnancy rate between two groups (P<0.05).ConclusionsTiaogeng Yijing Formula can improve the receptivity of endometrium, upr-regulate the expressions of integrin αvβ3, TGF-β1 and VEGF protein in planting window phase of endometrium, improve the type of endometrium and decrease the blood flow index to increase embryo implantation and pregnancy rate.

摘要:Schizophrenia is a common disease in psychiatric clinics. TCM treatment has its own advantages and characteristics. Syndrome differentiation and treatment is the core of TCM, while syndromes are the core of syndrome differentiation and treatment. At present, there has still been a lack of unified criteria for this syndrome. Therefore, on the basis of ancient and modern literature research, clinical epidemiological investigations and Delphi method research, the Professional Committee of Mental Illness of the Chinese Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine were summoned three times to discuss the TCM syndrome classification and the syndrome-symptoms of schizophrenia. Finally, the expert consensus standard of TCM syndrome differentiation and classification of schizophrenia was determined. TCM syndromes of schizophrenia were divided into 5 types according to the consensus. Each syndrome has to meet 5 symptoms of the main symptoms plus 6 symptoms of sub-symptoms before the diagnosis can be made. At the same time, relevant symptoms which were of four diagnosis information can be quantified by experts, so that the research work can be unified and quantified, especially in scoring the curative effect of TCM syndromes in clinical research.

摘要:Diarrhea is a common disease clinically. Professor Tian Delu has unique insights into this disease. Prof. Tian classifies it into fulminant diarrhea and chronic diarrhea according to its course of duration. Fulminant diarrhea, with a shorter course of duration, is often related to external pathogens and dietary factors while the chronic diarrhea is related to physical deficiency and mood factors. In accordance with its pathogenesis of spleen deficiency and dampness, Prof. Tian combines the pathogenesis treatment and viscera treatment, and takes the spleen, stomach, liver and kidneys into consideration. For patients with externally contracted pathogens, priority is given to the dampness; For patients with dietary injuries, unblocking and purgation is used to expel the pathogens; For patients with enduring disease and deficiency, sweet and gentle medicinals are used to warm the kidney and cultivate the spleen; For patients with mood disorders, the liver and spleen are regulated to transform phlegm and stasis; For patients with prolonged diarrhea, the method of astringing the intestines is used to secure collapse. In clinical practice, Prof. Tian often combines different treatment methods based on syndrome differentiation, with equal emphasis on both the deficiency and excess, formig a unique therapeutic system of his own.

摘要:Gastroesophageal reflux cough is a common disease of the respiratory system and a special type of the gastroesophageal reflux disease, which belongs to the category of "gastric cough" in traditional Chinese medicine. Prof.Wang Shuchen takes the disordered spleen and stomach qi activities as the key pathogenesis for this disease, and unsmooth flow of the liver as a trigger. For this reason, key to treatment lies in the regulation of the spleen and stomach qi activities. Banxia Xiexin Decoction is used as a basic prescription, in combination with qi-regulating medicinals. Many such patients have been treated this way, all with good effects. This has offered a train of thought for clinical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux cough.

摘要:With the method of document combing, this article takes dementia and its core symptoms as a main line, and outlines the theoretical source of the prevention and treatment of dementia in our country from the aspects of disease name evolution, pathogenesis renewal, and pattern-differentiation and treatment in our country. Dementia was first recognized in our country 2, 000 years ago. From the first mention of "forgetful" symptom and the theory of "Kidneys storing Zhi (i.e. memory)" in the Huangdi Neijing in the Western Han Dynasty, to theory of "Prolonged blood stasis making people forgetful" in the Shang Han Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty, all these have laid a solid theoretical foundation for the diagnosis and treatment of dementia. There are more innovations in the inheritance by later generations. For example, in the late Ming Dynasty, Jing Yue Quan Shu pioneered the name of "Dementia Syndrome" and proposed the treatment method of "Strengthening Qi" for it. In the early Qing Dynasty, Bian Zheng Lu referred to it as "dementia disease" and elaborated on it in the special part of "The Six Chapters of Dementia Disease" and the "Treating Phlegm to treat dementia" therapy. These have enriched the theories and methods of diagnosis and treatment for dementia disease. Extended to the present day, from the "differentiation and treatment" protocol of dementia disease at the end of the last century to the "pattern cascade hypothesis" and "sequential therapy" of Alzheimer’s disease at the beginning of this century, the prevention and treatment system for the dementia disease with unique Chinese medicine characteristics has been formed.

摘要:Deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine refers to a series of chronic debilitating diseases induced by exogenous pathogenic factors, internal injuries, and excessive seven emotions. The basic pathogenesis is loss of viscera and qi, blood, yin and yang. It can also appear as a symptom in many diseases. Ye Tianshi had deep insights in the treatment of various miscellaneous diseases, especially in treating consumptive diseases. The Clinical Guide to Medical Records is a concentrated expression of Ye’s academic thoughts. Among them, there have been many medical records about insufficiency, with distinctive features. We explored the characteristics of Ye’s classic prescriptions by reading the medical records of The Clinical Guide to Medical Records. The theoretical characteristics of Ye’s theory on the treatment of asthenia included fortifying the middle and promoting the yuan, regulating and harmonizing yin and wei;The stomach(disease) has both yin and yang, thus its treatment should be based on the pattern identification; The spleen and the kidney should be both tonified with an eye to the middle and the lower energizers. The application features of Ye’s classic formulas included good use of dietary therapy; nourishing the kidney and essence; medication for clearing spirits, emolliating yang and nourishing liquid; protecting yin and nourishing healthy qi; co-regulating qi movements; removing blood stasis and dispelling congestion, as chronic illnesses may affect the collaterals.

摘要:Granulomatous mastitis is a nonspecific benign inflammatory breast disease with a long disease course, mostly occurring in women during the non-lactation period. The etiology is unknown, and it is easy to be misdiagnosed and treated in a wrong way. In recent years, its incidence has been on the rise. In traditional Chinese medicine, granulomatous mastitis falls into the category of "nonpuerperal mammary carbuncles" and "mammary fistula" , and TCM has achieved a certain curative effect in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. This paper discusses the treatment of granulomatous mastitis based on the "theory of latent pathogens" . Syndrome differentiation and stage-based treatment is put forward: In the acute phase, clear heat and dissolve phlegm to dissipate pathogens; In the subacute phase, warm yang and unblock collaterals to dissipate pathogens; In the chronic phase, nourish qi, unblock collaterals and dissipate phlegm to dispel pathogens. Moreover, in combination with the therapeutic concept of timely surgical operations, the latent pathogens would scatter and be removed. This paper offers new treatment ideas for the clinical treatment of this disease.

摘要:ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the relationship between asthma and TCM constitution.MethodsSinoMed, CNKI, WanFang Database, VIP, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were searched for cross-sectional studies and case-control studies on the association between asthma and traditional Chinese medicine, with the search time limit from the establishment of the databases to November 12, 2021. Two researchers were used to screen the literature, extract data, and evaluate the quality according to the inclusion and ranking criteria. Statistical software stata 16.0 was used to analyze the data of the included studies.ResultsA total of 20 studies were included, including 15 cross-sectional studies and 5 case-control studies. The total sample size was 5, 920 cases, including 5, 497 cases of asthma and 423 cases of control group. The meta-analysis results of 20 studies on the association between asthma and TCM constitutions showed: qi deficiency 0.22 (0.17, 0.26), special endowment 0.18 (0.12, 0.24), yang-deficiency 0.16 (0.13, 0.20) and phlegm-dampness 0.16 ( 0.13, 0.19) were more than 10% in the population of asthma patients in China. The meta-analysis results of 5 case-control studies showed that nine TCM constitutions were used as exposure factors to compare with the general population. The OR value of inherited-special was 5.46 (3.04, 9.84), and the OR value of phlegm-dampness was 2.18 (1.30, 3.66) , Qi-deficiency OR value was 2.03 (1.51, 2.73), yang-deficiency OR value was 1.33 (0.56, 3.12). The distribution of TCM constitution types of asthma patients in East China were mostly yang-deficiency, qi-deficiency and special endowment; The distribution of TCM constitutions of asthma patients in South China and North China were mostly qi-deficiency, yang-deficiency and phlegm-dampness. There was no statistically significant difference in the distribution of TCM constitution types in asthma patients of different genders.ConclusionsQi-deficiency, special endowment, yang-deficiency, and phlegm-dampness constitutions were the main TCM constitution types for asthma patients, and they were also risk factors for asthma. The distribution of common TCM constitution types for asthma in different regions was different, and asthma patients of different genders. There was no significant difference in the constitution distribution of TCM.

摘要:ObjectiveTo explore the TCM prescription rules in the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and its potential mechanism of core compatibility of "Huangqi-Dangshen-Baizhu-Danggui" .MethodsThe data were from CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP databases and recorded in Excel 2019. The Ancient and Modern Medical Records Cloud Platform V2.3, SPSS Statistics 26.0, and SPSS Modeler 18.0 were used for frequency and attribute calculation, association rules, systematic clustering and factor analysis after standardizing Chinese herbal medicines. The KEGG pathway analysis of core compatibility group was conducted by using network pharmacology to explore its potential mechanism.ResultsAmong the included 307 clinical prescriptions, Huangqi (Radix Astragali) was the most commonly used, mainly with warm and neutral properties, sweet and acrid flavors. It is attributive mainly to the Spleen Meridian. Association rule analysis screened out 14 herbal compatibility groups in high strength, such as "Huangqi-Dangshen-Baizhu-Danggui" . Seven common factors were extracted by factor analysis, and herbs were classified into five categories in systematic clustering analysis. KEGG pathway analysis showed that a total of 166 main biological pathways were enriched in the core compatibility group of "Huangqi-Dangshen-Baizhu-Danggui" , among which the TNF signal pathway, PI3K-Akt signal pathway, HIF-1 signal pathway were closely related to CFS treatment.ConclusionsTCM treatment for CFS mainly rectifies qi and fortifies the spleen, and nourishes blood and tonifies deficiency. Huangqi, Fuling, Danggui, and Baizhu are frequently used in clinical practice, and combined with herbs with the actions of tonifying the kidney and supplementing essence, rectifying qi to resolve constraint, nourishing the heart and calming the mind based on specific syndromes. The core compatibility group of "Huangqi-Dangshen-Baizhu-Danggui" may act on targets such as Akt1, MAPK8, IL6, MAPK1, and JUN via TNF signal pathway, PI3K-Akt signal pathway, and HIF-1 signal pathway, thus exerting effects on the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome.

摘要:Breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) is a chronic progressive disease. Its pathogenesis was explored in traditional Chinese medicine from the perspective of "disease" and "symptoms" , focused on four aspects: deficiency, phlegm, blood stasis, and toxin. These four aspects have a close and mutually causal relationship. Clinically, when targeted treatment is performed, disease combination and syndrome differentiation are needed. TCM intervention methods include internal administration of TCM, external application of TCM, acupuncture and moxibustion, cupping and massage, etc. TCM prevention and treatment methods show advantages of multiple links and multiple channels. However, there are still some problems, for instance, inconsistent syndrome differentiation standards, low repeatability of clinical syndrome differentiation, lack of large-scale and multi center research on long-term efficacy, and insufficient standardized, objective and standardized efficacy evaluation.

摘要:The highly effective antiretroviral therapy(HAART) is currently recognized as an effective method for the treatment of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), but there are still some patients with poor immune reconstitution after HAART. The incidence of opportunistic infection and even death is higher in such patients than in patients with good immunity. The traditional Chinese medicine studies on immune reconstruction have found a close relationship between the spleen and kidney and AIDS immune regulation, which provides new ideas and methods for clinical treatment and scientific research of AIDS immune reconstruction. Therefore, a systematic review and summary of the ideas and methods of TCM starting from the spleen and kidney to treat poor immune reconstitution of AIDS can provide a reference for subsequent mechanism research and clinical treatment.

摘要:Children allergic rhinitis, often accompanied by nasal congestion, running noses, sneezing, mucosal edema, adenoid hypertrophy, nose backflow postnasal drip syndrome followed by allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome and so on, seriously affects life quality. Huang Yuanyu, from the Qing Dynasty, first mentioned the "Qi Circumfluence" in Si Sheng Xin Yuan and created a stable physiological framework in which the spleen qi serves as the pivot core, the liver and heart go upwards on the left, and the lung and kidney go downward on the right. Once spleen Qi is stagnated or congested either by exogenous pathogenic factors or internal injuries, disease may arise. Our research team hold that allergic rhinitis in children and a series of symptoms are closely associated with the spleen which fails to transport. Accordingly, in treatment, importance should be attached to guiding it back to the original circumfluence, with good effects.
