Objective To observe the curative effect of Modified Taohongsiwu Decoction on secondary erectile dysfunction （ED） of benign prostate hyperplasia （BPH）. Method All 106 patients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with Modified Taohongsiwu Decoction on the base of routine treatment of Western medicine

and the control group with routine Western medicine and placebo. The curative effect was observed in two groups after 4 weeks. Result The comparison of international index of erectile function （IIEF5） between two groups was different statistically （P<0.05）. The total effective rate was 75.47% in the treatment group and 24.53% in the control group. The difference was significant greatly between two groups （P<0.001）. Conclusion Modified Taohongsiwu Decoction has significant and reliable curative effect on secondary ED of BPH.
