Premature ovarian failure (POF) is one of the primary causes of infertility in women. As the incidence of POF has been on the rise

which has greatly affected women who want to have their own children

the treatment of premature ovarian failure has attracted wide attention from the medical circle. From the perspective of "yang transforming into qi while yin constituting the body"

we investigated into the treatment methods of POF in traditional Chinese medicine. The main pathogenesis of premature ovarian failure lies in the deficiency of kidney essence and yin-yang imbalance. Accordingly

the treatment is to supplement kidney essence and to balance yin and yang

with the use of Chinese medicine periodic treatment

TCM ointment and other traditional Chinese medicine treatments

in order to cure menstrual disorder

and to restore ovulation. With the effective case from Professor Luo Songping

the application of "yang transforming into qi while yin constituting the body" in the treatment of premature ovarian failure is investigated.
